Abstract
Twenty-six species of Tipulidae and one of Ptychopteridae are recorded from the Ouachita Highlands of westcentral Arkansas. Of these, 20 spe cies of Tipuiidae are recorded from Arkansas for the first time althou gh all are widespread in eastern North America.
