Abstract
A new apparatus utilizing the Tyndall effect to measure the solubility of salts in water was described. The solid-liquid equilibrium of salt mixtures of NH4Cl + KCI, NH4Cl + NH4NO3, and KCl + KNO3 in water were determined in the temperature range of 293.15 K to 348.15 K.
