Abstract
The scattering properties of periodic metal strips on planar and circu lar cylindrical multilayer substrates are studied. The scattered field is evaluated both accurately, by calculating the strip currents by th e moment method, and approximately, by using the asymptotic strip boun dary conditions (ASBC). We investigate the accuracy of the ASBC for di fferent strip periods and widths. (C) 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
