Abstract
Near-forward scatter of laser light off lower hybrid and whistler wave s in hot magnetized plasmas is investigated. Important gains might be obtained at relatively high intensity, as well for low (much less than omega(pi)) as for high (much greater than omega(pi)) frequency waves, leading to unexpected features in the scattered light spectrum.
