We calculate the time dependence of the T-violating term in the stimul
ated Raman transition which was discussed for short times in earlier p
apers. We study a double h-system and use numerical methods to find ex
plicit results for caesium. The two stimulating fields are taken to be
plane polarized with polarization vectors epsilon(a) and epsilon(b).
We investigate two terms similar to(epsilon(a) . epsilon(b))epsilon(a)
x epsilon(b), one of which is due to T-violation, the other one to th
e decay of the intermediate states. We discuss their different time de
pendence. In addition to these two terms there is a T-violating term w
hich is proportional to the decay constant of the intermediate states
and does not vanish even for unpolarized beams. We show its time depen
dence. Finally, we comment on the possible influence of T-violation on
population trapping in a system possessing a dark state.
