Abstract
A survey was undertaken to study the incidence of aflatoxin M-1 in mil k in and around Chennal city. A total of 325 milk samples were collect ed. Or these, 36 samples (11%) were found to have aflatoxin M-1 in the range of 0.1 to 1 mu g/l. Milk samples analyzed In this study showed a slightly higher level of anatoxin M-1, which suggested a need for im provement of quality control procedures in feeds.
