P. Hana et al., THE HYDROSTATIC PIEZOELECTRIC COEFFICIENTS OF PBTIO3 PVDF COMPOSITES WITH 0-3-CONNECTIVITY DETERMINED AT THE HIGH-PRESSURE RANGE/, Annales de chimie, 22(8), 1997, pp. 695-698
The hydrostatic piezoelectric coefficients of piezoelectric composites
with 0-3 connectivity were measured. Composites were made from lead t
itanate PbTiO3 and PVDF polymers as thin circle samples using hot pres
sing technique. The samples were pooling in electrical field at higher
temperature. The hydrostatic strain coefficient db, the hydrostatic v
oltage coefficient gh and figure of merit d(h.gh) were determined usin
g the static D.C. technique inside the high pressure chamber. The pres
sure range was 0 to 60 MPa. The samples were kept under an adjusting s
tatic pressure from the hydraulic press. The charge produced by the sa
mples was measured on a Keithley 6517 Electrometer. The coefficient db
is a proportional amount of the measured charge. The dependences of h
ydrostatic piezoelectric coefficients on high pressure are reported.
