Abstract
A method for making transmission electron microscopy (TEM) specimens o f ceramic fibers is described. The specimens are particularly well sui ted for observation of ceramic coatings on a large number of filaments . The technique is also useful for preparation of extremely flat SEM s pecimens with good edge retention. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science S.A.
