Abstract
Early detection of cardiac angiosarcoma is usually difficult and the p rognosis is very poor. We experienced a 32-year-old man with cardiac a ngiosarcoma who responded to multidisciplinary treatment with recombin ant interleukin-2, postoperative chemotherapy (cyclophosphamide, vincr istine, doxorubicin, Dacarbazine) and radiation. At 30 months after su rgery, there was no evidence of recurrence or metastasis in spite of i ncomplete resection. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ireland Ltd.
