Abstract
A numerical algorithm for calculating II-waveguide junctions based on the variational and Galerkin methods is developed, and the parameters of various planar transverse junctions and displacements of II-wavegui des are determined. Convergence of the method is investigated, and rec ommendations for the engineering calculations' are formulated.
