INCORPORATION OF VANADIUM SPECIES IN A DEALUMINATED BETA-ZEOLITE

V-loaded beta zeolites can be prepared by a two-step postsynthesis met hod which consists of first creating vacant T-sites by dealumination o f the beta zeolite with nitric acid, then contacting them with an ammo nium metavanadate solution; the SiOH consumption and the nature of the incorporated V species are characterized by IR, W-VIS and Si-29 MAS N MR spectroscopies.
