Abstract
This overview features the main issues discussed in the workshop, ''Ec onomics of Carbon Sequestration in Forestry,'' held in Bergendal, Swed en, May 15-19, 1995. The most important conclusion to emerge from the workshop was the need for a more widely-accepted approach to the metho dology used in economic analysis. Conceptual issues were discussed, an d approaches proposed. Details on those issues and proposals can be fo und in the working group papers that are contained in this volume.
