Abstract
Paracoccidioidomycosis is a systemic fungal infection caused by the th ermally dimorphic fungus Paracoccidioides brasiliensis. The authors pr esent a case of a 49-year-old man who developed verrucous lesions on n asal mucosa and on genital localization (inguinal and scrotal), withou t signs of systemic disease. Direct mycological examination, culture o n Sabouraud glucose medium, and biopsy were positive for P. brasiliens is. The interest of this case is the genital localization which is unc ommon in this infection. Moreover, there are few cases described in th e literature.
