Abstract
This article describes the family dynamics of the workaholic family, b ased on emerging research and the families the author has seen in trea tment. A case study is presented as an illustration, followed by struc tural and dynamic characteristics of the workaholic family and treatme nt recommendations. It is suggested that family members also are negat ively affected by workaholism and may develop a set of mental health p roblems of their own.
