Abstract
Coupled-column liquid and gas chromatography (LC-GC) provides interfac es that allow the injection of large solvent volumes in capillary GC, These large-volume injections provide new ways to integrate sample pre paration into the chromatographic procedure, The combination of on-lin e extractors, contemporary LC injection devices, reactors, and solid-p hase extraction cartridges with large-volume injection techniques offe rs great advantages in the automation of conventional analytical proce dures.
