M. Bravin et al., MAGNETIC-RELAXATION OF SOLID AND LIQUID-HE-3 CONFINED INSIDE A SILVERSINTER, Journal of low temperature physics, 110(1-2), 1998, pp. 375-380
We present T-1 measurements performed in liquid and solid He-3 confine
d in sintered silver. In the liquid case, we find a close to linear re
lationship between T-1 and the applied magnetic field, similar to othe
r (non metallic) systems, and up to higher frequencies (corresponding
to 11 T) than previously reported. In the solid, the relaxation rate i
s found to increase spectacularly at large polarizations, which may in
dicate a polarization dependence of the exchange motion.
