Abstract
The baculum (os penis) in 27 genera and 55 species of Mustelidae from the world fauna is described in detail. Structure of the baculum is di fferent in most species. The genus Mustela is divided into 8 subgenera in the os penis form, two of them, Neovison subgen, nov. (within N. v isoni) and Cabreragale subgen. nov. (within M. felipei) are new.
