LOWER PERMIAN RADIOLARIA FROM THE POS-BLAU AREA, ULU-KELANTAN, MALAYSIA

Twenty two species of Radiolaria were identified from a 30 mthick cher t sequence exposed at a roadcut near Pos Blau, Ulu Kelantan. The radio larian assemblage represents the top part of the Pseudoalbaillella lom entaria ia Zone, upper Wolfcampian which is equivalent to the Sakmaria n, Lower Permian. These radiolarian faunas contain elements present in both Southern Urals and Japanese faunas. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Lt d.
