Abstract
Computer-assisted learning is an acceptable form of education for gene ral dental practitioners. Critical assessment of program structure and content is required if the maximum benefits of the medium are to be o btained. There is a need for information technology support for genera l dental practitioners to allow them to make best use of the programs.
