RETROPERITONEAL LAPAROSCOPIC CORRECTION OF RETROCAVAL URETER

Symptomatic patients with retrocaval ureter have traditionally been tr eated by an open operative correction via the transperitoneal route, H owever, with the increasing use of minimally invasive therapy, some an ecdotal reports of this condition being corrected via the transperiton eal laparoscopic approach have also appeared in the medical literature . In this paper we report our experience of the retroperitoneal laparo scopic approach.
