Abstract
3,4'-Dibromo-2,2'-bithiophene was converted, in high yield, into the c orresponding dibutoxy derivative. The H-1 and C-13 nmr data are discus sed in comparison with those of 3,3'- and 4,4'-dibutoxy-2,2'-bithiophe ne in relation to regiochemistry.
