Abstract
Several, widely used, group contribution models have been used to pred ict solid-liquid equilibria for n-alcohol+n-alkane binary mixtures. Th ey are: modified UNIFAC [1], DISQUAC [2, 3], Nitta-Chao [4] and the Ho le Model (HM) [5]. Also a recently reported group contribution model ( AssoDis) including association [6] has been taken into account. The re sults have been compared with experimental data.
