Abstract
The influence of some factors of the wood-coating system on the qualit y of finished surfaces was examined. The solid wood of some hardwood s pecies - beech and oak - conditioned to various moisture contents corr esponding to the wood moisture in interior use was used. Wood samples were finished with two pack clear polyurethane coating. The influence of the coating on the quality was examined through the different ratio s of the polyurethane coating components, i.e. the different content o f isocyanate component in the coating. The interaction is monitored by adhesion the determination of adhesion expressed by the pull-off stre ngth of the polyurethane coating.
