Abstract
Important advances continue to occur in both our understanding and man agement of gestational trophoblastic disease. Complete molar pregnancy is being diagnosed earlier in pregnancy which affects its clinical an d pathological presentation. The use of chemotherapy in persistent ges tational trophoblastic tumors continues to be refined and our understa nding of the immunobiology of these tumors has substantially advanced. 1040-872X (C) 1998 Rapid Science Publishers.
