Abstract
The syntheses and immunosuppressive activity of ruthenium complexes ar e described. One of the complexes (1a) was shown to be a potent inhibi tor of human T-lymphocyte proliferation with an IC50 of 5 nM. The acti vity of these complexes compares favorably to the well known immunosup pressants Cyclosporin A and Rapamycin. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
