Abstract
Mathematical modeling and computer simulation methods are proposed for studying educational strategies that cannot be examined easily in an operational setting. The computer simulator developed follows students from K-12 and computes a measure of the effect of different education al strategies on learning. Issues modeled included teacher burnout, al location of training funds, and hiring/firing practices.
