Abstract
Six patients with lobular carcinoma in situ with microinvasion were de scribed in this report. Lobular carcinoma in situ is not known to prog ress to microinvasive disease. Although this feature is rare, the curr ent understanding that lobular carcinoma in situ is a marker needs to be revised. (C) 1998 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
