Abstract
The paper presents the analyticl study of an alternated structure of p ermanent magnets, These structures are used to construct position sens ors, for example, Such devices need to be optimized, and only through analytical expressions can this he done, The paper presents these anal ytical expressions and their use in optimization of the magnetic circu it with regard to such constraints as mechanical airgap and resolution .
