Abstract
Special analytical methodology for model-model and model-measurement c omparison is presented. It can be used with the data provided by airbo rne transport models. Basic statistical procedures have been elaborate d for model calibration and for analysis of the quality and representa tiveness of the datasets. Special adaptation of well-known methods and elaboration of new ones have been carried out to take into considerat ion the specific features of the analysed data. Analytical procedures are applied in a software package developed as a user-friendly environ ment. It has been used for calibrations of models of the airborne tran sport of heavy metals and acid compounds and for intercomparison of mo dels of the dispersion of heavy metals.
