Abstract
In the framework of COST-710, working group III aims to recommend form ulations of atmospheric vertical profiles of wind, temperature and tur bulence. This intermediate report gives a brief overview of existing m ethods to calculate vertical profiles. A short note on existing datase ts for validation purposes is given.
