Zk. Li et al., INVESTIGATION OF THE REGULATORY ATMOSPHERIC DISPERSION MODEL USED IN CHINA, AND ITS COMPARISON WITH SOME OTHER MODELS, International journal of environment and pollution, 8(3-6), 1997, pp. 796-805
The regulatory atmospheric dispersion model used in China (CRADM) is b
riefly described, and the main differences between CRADM and the model
s used in western countries, such as HPDM and AMS, are analysed. The v
arious aspects of CRADM, HPDM and AMS for same input are compared and
discussed. Especially, it is indicated that the Briggs plume rise form
ula in neutral conditions overestimates the real rise, because the acc
umulative effect of ambient turbulence on the plume is not considered
in his model.
