Abstract
New structural transformations in K and Na amidosulfonates are detecte d and studied by means of DSC and in situ optical microscopy. The enan tiotropic transformation in K amidosulfonate has a transition temperat ure of 437.9 K and a heat of transformation Delta H=4878 J mol(-1). Th e corresponding values for the weak first-order phase transition in Na NH2SO3 are 456.0 K and Delta H=1905 J mol(-1), respectively. (C) 1997 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
