Abstract
A convenient synthesis of perfluoroalkylated alpha,beta-unsaturated ni triles by the consecutive reactions of diethyl (1-cyanoethyl) phosphon ate with n-butyllithium, perfluoroalkanoic anhydride and organolithium reagents is described. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science S.A.
