One of the most important issue in observational cosmology is the iden
tification of the homogeneity scale, i.e. the scale beyond which a con
stant density can be defined. In this respect we study the Perseus Pis
ces redshift survey. We find therefore that this sample show no tenden
cy towards homogenization, and indeed we find that galaxy distribution
has fractal long-range correlation up to the sample depth (approximat
e to 130h(-1) M pc), with fractal dimension D approximate to 2. Moreov
er we find clear evidences that the luminosity segregation phenomenon
has no experimental support.
