Abstract
An analyzer for the measurement of minute variations of oxygen in air was designed and tested. A 'single-tube' differential arrangement was used, based on a potentiometric laboratory-made zirconia sensor. The a nalyzer was calibrated using an electrochemical oxygen pump. Calibrati on within the range +/- 300 mu l.1(-1) of oxygen around the normal bac kground of about 2.09 x 10(5) mu l.1(-1) in air, showed an error of 4 mu l.1(-1). (C) 1997 Elsevier Science S.A.
