Abstract
A series of polyethers of a new type, lycopanerols A, consisting of te traterpenoid and unbranched aliphatic moieties, was isolated from a L strain of the green microalga Botryococcus braunii. Their structures w ere established on the basis of chemical degradation and of Mass and N MR data. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
