Abstract
The synthesis of meso-tetraarylporphyrines bearing 1-4 catechoylamid g roups was achieved. Among the four new compounds prepared, the structu re of the disubstituted ligand was elucidated in the solid state by an X-ray analysis. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
