Abstract
In order to simplify the fabrication process of electroluminescence (E L) devices and eliminate interface exciton quenching between the layer s of the device, novel triad compounds and dyad compounds were synthes ized in which both electron and hole transporting moieties were connec ted directly with the emitter via covalent bonds. The luminescent prop erties of these triad and dyad compounds in solid film have been inves tigated. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science S.A.
