Abstract
The results of experimental studies on stabilization of convective bur ning of energetic materials (explosives and propellants) with low poro sity (2-15%) are reviewed, The mechanisms and conditions of stabilizat ion of the process are considered, a great body of experimental data o n the characteristics of quasisteady convective burning is presented, the major factors affecting the stability and propagation velocity of convective burning are indicated.
