Abstract
Anterior urethral polyps are extremely rare. In most cases they become symptomatic in late childhood with voiding problems and/or macrohemat uria. We report a male infant who presented with an anterior urethral polyp prolapsing beyond the meatus. Before surgical resection was perf ormed, acute torsion with hemorrhagic infarction of the polyp occurred .
