Abstract
The Pd-catalysed C-C bond formation between water soluble iodoarenes a nd terminal alkynes is promoted by cationic guanidinophosphines. New q uantitative cross-couplings were obtained in aqueous solution at 35 de grees C within minutes even in the presence of a protein. (C) 1998 Els evier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
