The condensation reaction between gamma-unsubstituted pyrylium salts a
nd carbanions of Fischer-type carbene complexes allowed the synthesis
of new gamma-methylenepyran carbene complexes. C-13 NMR data and singl
e cristal X-ray analysis suggest a delocalisation of the oxygene lone
