F. Landolsi et al., ELECTROCARDIOGRAPHIC PARAMETERS ON HORSES SUFFERING FROM EXERCISE-INDUCED EPISTAXIS SYNDROME, Revue de Medecine Veterinaire, 148(12), 1997, pp. 969-974
The authors have carried out electrocardiography recordings, according
to Dubois's technique, on 26 horses suffering from exercise induced e
pistaxis and 42 healthy horses. In bipolar lead D-II, the duration, th
e amplitude and the morphology of auricular depolarization wave (P-wav
e), ventricular depolarization wave (QRS complex) and ventricular repo
larization wave (T-wave), also, the duration of PR-segment and RT inte
rval have been investigated. Significant differences, between the 2 gr
oups, in PR duration, QRS duration, R wave and T-2 wave amplitude have
been observed.
