Abstract
It was study the falling syndrome that occurs during the fight of 168 animals fought in the bullfight-ring of Malaga. It was determined the plasmatic concentration of some blood parameters. It was observed that the intense and unusual physical exertion that the bulls displayed du ring the fight results in changes in the acid-basic balance, increasin g the plasmatic levels of some ions, which seems to be the cause of so me disturb in the muscle contraction and in the nervous impulse transm ission, which are translate in the falling syndrome manifestation.
