We have experimentally investigated the structure, mechanical and magn
etic properties in steel 30KhGSA which has been deformed by hydrostati
c extrusion to different degrees and is found in three different initi
al states attained by refining (quenching + high-temperature tempering
), isothermal decomposition at 650 degrees C, and normalizing. We have
shown that the studied magnetic properties (H-c, B-r, mu(max)) change
most considerably in the initial stages of deformation (by up to 20%)
, remaining practically constant in the 20-60% strain range. At the sa
me time, the strength properties monotomically increase over the entir
e range of studied strains.
