DETERMINATION OF THE PARAMETERS OF FLAW ACCUMULATION AND ESTIMATION OF THE CRITERION OF FAILURE FROM THE RECONSTRUCTED VALUES OF THE ACOUSTIC-EMISSION EVENT FLUX
Si. Builo, DETERMINATION OF THE PARAMETERS OF FLAW ACCUMULATION AND ESTIMATION OF THE CRITERION OF FAILURE FROM THE RECONSTRUCTED VALUES OF THE ACOUSTIC-EMISSION EVENT FLUX, Russian journal of nondestructive testing, 33(7), 1997, pp. 512-516
The practical application of the method of reconstructing the flux of
acoustic emission (AE) events from recorded signals is considered. A k
ink on the reconstructed intensity of the AE event flux divides the fr
acture kinetics into two parts: accumulation of microdeformation event
s and exponential multiplication of microflaws. A method is described
for estimating the flaw accumulation parameters from the reconstructed
. AE event flux. The results were used to refine the concentration cri
terion for the failure of solids.
