K. Orihara et al., STRUCTURAL-ANALYSIS OF THE COMPOSITE FILM FABRICATED BY SIMULTANEOUS EVAPORATION OF NICKEL AND PHTHALOCYANINE IN VACUUM, Kobunshi ronbunshu, 55(1), 1998, pp. 32-37
A composite film (Ni Pc) was prepared by evaporating nickel (Ni) and
phthalocyanine (Pc) simultaneously from different sources in a vacuum
. The visible absorption spectra of dilute solutions of the Ni Pc sa
mple were measured. As a result, the formation of phthalocyanine compl
ex (NiPc) in the sample was confirmed. And, by X-ray diffraction measu
rement, electron diffraction measurement and TEM observation of the Ni
Pc, the crystallinity and crystallite size of Pc or NiPc component
in the sample were found to decrease largely compared with those of Pc
deposition only. Such a reaction for NiPc synthesis may be caused by
drastic depression in crystallinity of Pc component by simultaneous ev
aporation with Ni.
