Abstract
Reaction of the terminal NMe2 groups of the spiro antimony(III) imido anion [{(Me2N)Sb(mu-NCy)}(2)Sb](-) with (BuOH)-O-t results in major re arrangement in the Sb-N framework as witnessed in the structure of the sandwich complex [{((BuO)-O-t)(2)Sb-3(mu-NCy)(3)(mu(3)-NCy)}K .eta(6) -C6H5Me] 1, containing the novel nido cage anion [((BuO)-O-t)(2)Sb-3(m u-NCy)(3)(mu(3)-NCy)](-).
