Abstract
The typification of six Linnaean Datura names (D. stramonium, D. metel , D. arborea, D. ferox, D. fastuosa and D. tatula) is discussed. A mod ification to the typification of D. fastuosa is proposed and a lectoty pe for D. tatula is designated here. (C) 1997 The Linnean Society of L ondon.
