Abstract
Cluster systems (file shared parallel systems) provided by operating s ystem ACOS-4/XVP PX have achieved fault tolerance for a whole system, high-scalability, system flexibility and single system image operation , by sharing large-scale databases and files in central enterprise inf ormation systems.
